G-Dragon stepped in to help a camera operator avoid the edge of a raised stage during BIGBANG’s 20th-anniversary concert in Goyang. Video from the performance shows the singer noticing the operator moving backward while filming, checking the space behind him and signaling before creating room for him to move to a safer position.

The operator was walking in reverse to keep G-Dragon in frame as the performance continued. That filming method allowed the camera to follow the artist’s movement, but it also left the operator facing away from his direction of travel. G-Dragon appeared to recognize the approaching hazard while still performing.

After warning the operator, the singer repositioned himself and remained behind him for part of the sequence. The adjustment reduced the need for the operator to continue stepping backward and placed G-Dragon where he could monitor the remaining distance. No fall or injury was reported.

A person identifying herself as the camera operator’s wife later said her husband had told her that G-Dragon helped him that day. She described the stage as approximately two meters high and said the operator had been approaching its edge while concentrating on framing the shot.

She also said she and her children are BIGBANG fans and expressed gratitude that her husband returned safely. Her account added personal context to the video, although the most visible part of the episode remains the recorded interaction between the performer and operator onstage.

Concert camera operators often have to track performers while preserving a stable composition. In this case, the operator’s attention was directed toward G-Dragon and the image being captured rather than the floor behind him. BIGBANG plans to continue the tour through North America, Europe, Oceania and Asia. The Goyang shows therefore served both as an anniversary celebration and as the starting point for a large international production that will be repeated across multiple regions.

For G-Dragon, the brief exchange with the camera operator became an unscripted moment within that opening run.
