CORTIS has crossed 1 billion cumulative Spotify streams with 13 released tracks, extending a rapid global rise before the group’s first anniversary.

CORTIS has crossed 1 billion cumulative Spotify streams, adding another major marker to one of K-pop’s fastest rookie rises ahead of the group’s first anniversary.
The five-member act, made up of Martin, James, Ju-hoon, Sung-hyun, and Geon-ho, reached about 1,000,600,000 total streams on Spotify as of July 24. The total covers 13 released tracks, including songs from the group’s first and second mini albums and “Mention Me,” a track connected to Sony Pictures Animation’s GOAT.
The number is notable because CORTIS achieved it with a compact catalog rather than a long backlist. The group debuted in August 2025 and is still approaching its first anniversary, yet its releases have already built enough repeat listening to place it among the most closely watched new-generation boy groups in K-pop.
A Fast Climb With A Small Catalog
CORTIS’s streaming pace has accelerated sharply through the summer. After reaching roughly 900 million cumulative Spotify streams on July 4, the group added another 100 million plays in less than a month. That growth suggests the milestone was not a one-time spike but the continuation of a broader listening pattern across several tracks.
The group’s monthly Spotify listeners have also moved past 12.7 million. Listener data points to a wide international spread, with the United States generating the largest share, followed by Indonesia, South Korea, the Philippines, Brazil, and Japan. For a rookie group, that distribution matters: it shows CORTIS is not relying only on domestic chart strength or a single regional market.
The group’s early catalog has also shown unusual depth. “GO!” from the first mini album has surpassed 216 million streams, while “FaSHioN” has moved close to the 200 million mark. Those figures indicate that listeners are returning to more than just a lead single, a key sign for a group trying to establish a durable identity beyond debut curiosity.
“REDRED” Keeps Driving The Momentum
The central engine of CORTIS’s current run is “REDRED,” the title track from the group’s second mini album. Released on April 20, the song has reached roughly 160 million cumulative streams in about three months and has continued to draw around 1.4 million daily streams even after formal album promotions ended.
That sustained activity has translated into chart longevity. “REDRED” has held No. 1 on Spotify’s Weekly Top Song Korea chart for 13 consecutive weeks. It has also remained active globally, appearing on the Weekly Top Song Global chart and staying on Spotify’s daily global song ranking for more than 90 straight days.
For CORTIS, those numbers strengthen a story that is bigger than a single record total. The group is building momentum across streaming, charts, and live scheduling at the same time. In the current K-pop market, where rookie acts often compete for short attention cycles, consistent replay value can be as important as first-week sales or viral clips.
Streaming Success Meets The Stage
The next test is whether that online demand continues to translate into live-audience momentum. CORTIS is scheduled to appear at Lollapalooza Chicago from July 31 to August 1 local time, giving the group a prominent U.S. festival platform just days after the 1 billion-stream milestone became public.
The group is also set to begin its first North American tour, 2026 CORTIS TOUR “PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN,” starting August 4 in Toronto and continuing across six cities through August 16. Shortly after, CORTIS will hold a first-anniversary concert on August 22 and 23 at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul.
Those dates arrive at a strategic moment. A billion streams can lift visibility, but tours and festival stages help convert passive listeners into a more committed fan base. For CORTIS, the combination of a fast-growing streaming footprint and a widening live schedule gives the group a clearer path from rookie breakout to long-term contender.
The milestone also sharpens expectations for the group’s next musical step. With only two mini albums and 13 total released tracks included in the Spotify tally, CORTIS has reached a level of scale that many acts need far larger catalogs to approach. The question now is not whether the group can attract attention, but how it will sustain that attention as its discography expands.
