JISOO has released the new single CLICK, opening another phase of her solo career with a futuristic music video built around isolation, discovery and companionship. The BLACKPINK member pairs the song’s focus on immediate emotional connection with a cinematic science-fiction narrative set inside an abandoned amusement park.

The single was released on September 11 through Warner Records. Its video was directed by Joseph Kahn, whose previous work includes projects with major international pop artists. For CLICK, he places JISOO in a deserted entertainment space where familiar attractions have fallen silent and the main character continues working despite the absence of visitors.

JISOO plays a mysterious futuristic figure who carries out routine duties alone. She moves through the empty park, maintaining the grounds and handling tasks that once served crowds. The repetition establishes a controlled but lonely existence, giving the arrival of another presence greater emotional weight.

A robotic companion changes the story

The video’s turning point comes when the character discovers a small robotic companion. Rather than leaving it behind, she chooses to repair it. That decision shifts the narrative away from solitude and toward a partnership, creating a visual counterpart to the song’s theme of finding someone with whom a bond forms quickly.
