N.Flying is preparing to return with a new mini-album on September 1, extending a busy period that has combined new music with the band’s first nationwide concert tour. The release will be the five-member group’s first album project in roughly 16 months, following its second full-length album in May 2025.
The comeback places Lee Seung Hyub, Cha Hun, Kim Jae Hyun, Yoo Hwe Seung and Seo Dong Sung back at the center of the band’s recorded output after a year dominated by live performances. While the full track list and album title have not yet been disclosed, two songs have already been introduced directly to concert audiences.
New songs arrive on the concert stage first
N.Flying previewed the title track, “Still”, along with the B-side “Fading Away” during the Seoul and Daegu stops of its 2026 tour, “&CON5 : into REM.” Presenting the material in a live setting gave fans an early look at how the songs fit the group’s band-focused sound before their official digital release.
Both tracks reportedly earned strong support from the members during the album’s preparation. That internal confidence is significant for a group whose identity has long rested on its musical chemistry, energetic performances and ability to turn melodic rock arrangements into accessible K-pop releases. The early concert previews also make the upcoming album part of a continuing live narrative rather than an isolated promotional cycle.
The new mini-album follows a productive chapter for N.Flying. Its 2025 studio album established a new career benchmark, while appearances at festivals and university events kept the group visible to broad live audiences. The band’s catalog has also continued to find listeners over time, with the older track “Flashback” experiencing renewed attention years after its original release.
A comeback built around touring momentum
The current “into REM” run is N.Flying’s first nationwide tour since its 2015 debut. After opening in Seoul and continuing through Daegu, the Korean leg is scheduled to visit Busan on August 15 and 16, followed by Gwangju on August 22 and 23. Those dates create a short runway into the September 1 album release.
That sequence gives the group an unusual promotional advantage: some fans will encounter the new songs in concert before hearing the official recordings, while others will discover the album just as the tour expands beyond Korea. It also lets N.Flying test the emotional and rhythmic impact of the tracks in the environment where the band has built much of its reputation.
Following the domestic dates, the tour is set to move into other Asian markets, including Taipei, Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo. The international schedule will allow the group to carry the new material into multiple cities soon after release, connecting the album’s launch with a wider concert campaign.
Ten years of steady growth
N.Flying debuted in 2015 and developed its audience through a combination of persistent touring, self-produced music and songs that gained momentum beyond their initial promotional windows. The 2019 hit “Rooftop,” in particular, became a defining example of the band’s ability to reach new listeners after release.
The September comeback arrives more than a decade into that journey, but its rollout emphasizes forward movement. New songs are being introduced on a larger domestic tour, an Asian itinerary is already in place, and the mini-album follows a full-length project that lifted the group’s commercial profile.

For now, the confirmed date and two concert-tested songs establish the main shape of N.Flying’s next chapter: a September album designed to carry the energy of the stage into a fresh release.
