Lee Jun Hyuk’s new webtoon-based office drama The Ordinary Jackpot will premiere on TVING on September 10 before beginning its tvN broadcast on September 14.

Lee Jun Hyuk is heading back to the office in a new drama that puts an unusual twist on the familiar dream of winning the lottery. The Ordinary Jackpot, a TVING original based on a webtoon of the same name, has confirmed its September rollout, with its streaming debut set for September 10.
The series will then expand to television four days later. It is scheduled to air on tvN as a Monday-Tuesday drama beginning September 14, giving viewers two ways to follow the story as it launches. The staggered release places the show on both a streaming platform and a conventional weekly broadcast schedule.
An everyday windfall, not an instant escape
At the center of the story is Gong Eun Tae, played by Lee Jun Hyuk. He is the head of Sales Team 5 at Hongsung International and, at first glance, an unremarkable employee trying to make his way through office life. His routine changes when he wins a lottery prize worth 1.3 billion won, reported at roughly $907,000.
That amount is substantial, but the drama’s premise deliberately resists the idea that money alone solves everything. The prize does not give Eun Tae a clean break from his life or a simple path to reinvention. Instead, it prompts him to reconsider the way he has been living and the choices that have shaped his working days.
Rather than resigning and disappearing into a newly wealthy future, Eun Tae returns to the office the next day. What changes is his outlook. The setup suggests a character story built around the difference between having the means to walk away and deciding what kind of person to become when one stays.
Sales team relationships will drive the workplace story
The office environment remains central to that transformation. Seo Hyun Woo joins the cast as Yang Jun Ho, an assistant manager in Sales Team 5, while Oh Dae Hwan plays Jung Sun Hyuk, the head of Sales Team 4. Their roles establish a team structure around Eun Tae as he navigates a new sense of possibility inside the same professional setting.
With a sales department as its backdrop, the series has room to explore workplace hierarchy, daily pressure and the small negotiations that can define office relationships. Eun Tae’s changed perspective may be personal, but it is likely to affect the colleagues who work alongside him and the rival team leader across the department.
Lee Jun Hyuk’s character is not presented as a fantasy figure who suddenly becomes detached from ordinary concerns. The drama instead frames him as someone whose fortune exposes a question many people recognize: if a major financial worry disappeared, which parts of life would actually need to change?
A September arrival for TVING and tvN viewers
The confirmed dates give The Ordinary Jackpot a clear path into the fall drama season. Its September 10 TVING premiere comes first, followed by the tvN broadcast on September 14. The four-day gap may allow the series to build early attention before settling into its Monday-Tuesday television slot.
The webtoon origin also gives the adaptation a defined starting point, while the office-comedy premise leaves space for a fresh screen interpretation. The key tension is less about whether Gong Eun Tae can spend his winnings than about what the windfall reveals once he returns to the place he thought he knew.
For Lee Jun Hyuk, the role offers a protagonist whose external circumstances change overnight while his professional world remains firmly in place. As the premiere approaches, the supporting sales-team characters and the drama’s take on that contrast will be central to watch.
The Ordinary Jackpot begins streaming on TVING on September 10 and starts airing on tvN on September 14.
