ATEEZ Returns to No. 1 as K-Pop Albums Fill Billboard World Albums Chart

ATEEZ leads a broad K-pop presence on Billboard’s World Albums chart, with CORTIS, Yeonjun, LE SSERAFIM, BTS and more also placing in the top ranks.

August 3, 2026 Monday, published in the 'K-Pop' category. This is a post. Title: ATEEZ Returns to No. 1 as K-Pop Albums Fill Billboard World Albums Chart...

ATEEZ has returned to the top of Billboard’s World Albums chart, leading a week in which a wide range of K-pop acts occupied prominent positions. The group’s GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5 moved back to No. 1 for its third non-consecutive week at the summit, underscoring the release’s continued momentum after its initial arrival.

The mini album also remained visible on the Billboard 200, where it logged a fourth week. That crossover matters because the World Albums ranking highlights international releases while the Billboard 200 reflects competition across the broader U.S. album market. For ATEEZ, the two placements show both a strong core audience and durable chart activity beyond the first week.

A crowded top tier for current releases

CORTIS followed at No. 2 with GREENGREEN, which rose in its 12th week on the World Albums chart. The group also appeared twice in the ranking: its debut EP COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES jumped to No. 12, an unusually clear sign that listeners are continuing to explore earlier material while supporting the newer project. Its Billboard 200 position at No. 126 further places the current release in a wider U.S. chart context.

Yeonjun’s solo mini album NO LABELS: PART 02 took No. 3 in its second chart week. LE SSERAFIM held No. 4 with PUREFLOW, then in its ninth week. Together, those results put two recent releases near the top while showing that the chart’s leading positions were not limited to a single act or release cycle.

BTS maintained No. 5 with the anthology album Proof, extending its remarkable run to 215 weeks on the chart. The group’s Japanese album Map of the Soul: 7 ~The Journey~ also climbed to No. 15. The parallel placements show how established catalog titles can continue to find an audience years after release, even as newer projects enter the ranking.

New titles and familiar catalog remain in play

BOYNEXTDOOR’s HOME rose back to No. 6 in its sixth week, while aespa’s LEMONADE held No. 7 in its eighth. Stray Kids placed two projects as well: KARMA ranked No. 9 in its 48th week and special album DO IT landed at No. 18 in its 35th. These entries illustrate how multiple releases from the same act can remain active at different stages of their lifecycles.

ILLIT’s MAMIHLAPINATAPAI stayed at No. 10 in its 12th week, while NewJeans’ Get Up climbed to No. 14 for its 150th week. ENHYPEN added two more appearances with THE SIN : VANISH at No. 17 and ROMANCE : UNTOLD re-entering at No. 25, its 100th total week on the chart.

SEVENTEEN’s V8 unit rounded out the group of notable placements with its debut mini album V8 at No. 23 in its third week. Although the artists span established global names, solo projects, newer groups and unit releases, the list presents a shared picture: K-pop’s overseas album presence is being sustained by both fresh promotional cycles and steady catalog listening.

What the latest rankings show

This week’s chart is especially notable for its range. ATEEZ’s return to No. 1 sits alongside CORTIS’s pair of entries, Yeonjun’s early solo momentum and the continuing strength of BTS, NewJeans and Stray Kids titles. Rather than concentrating attention around one release, the ranking reflects a market in which fans are moving between new projects and familiar records.

That breadth gives the World Albums chart a useful snapshot of K-pop’s current international footprint. The individual positions will change from week to week, but the latest results point to a deep release slate and a catalog with lasting visibility—two factors that continue to keep Korean pop artists well represented across the chart. With several artists holding more than one position, the results also demonstrate the importance of sustained discovery across full discographies.
