RESCENE’s Woni Tops July Individual Idol Brand Reputation Rankings

RESCENE’s Woni rose to No. 1 in July’s individual idol brand reputation rankings after a sharp month-over-month increase in public attention.

July 22, 2026 Wednesday, published in the 'K-Pop' category. This is a post. Title: RESCENE’s Woni Tops July Individual Idol Brand Reputation Rankings...

RESCENE’s Woni has taken first place in July’s individual idol brand reputation rankings, marking a major visibility breakthrough for the rising K-pop performer. The monthly list measured 1,735 idols across consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness, using big data collected from June 22 through July 22.

Woni’s rise was the most striking movement in the July results. Her brand reputation index reached 5,434,024 after a 384.56 percent increase from June, pushing her ahead of some of the industry’s most established names. For a younger idol competing in a field crowded with senior stars, the jump signals a notable surge in public recognition and online conversation.

The analysis connected Woni’s ranking to keywords including Pretty Girl, Deokyeon’s daughter, and Geoje Charmander. Related terms such as cute, likable, and pretty also ranked highly, suggesting that her appeal in July was shaped by both image-driven attention and favorable public sentiment. Her positivity-negativity analysis recorded 93.96 percent positive reactions.

Woni Leads A Competitive Top Five

BTS’s Jimin placed second with a brand reputation index of 4,849,221, keeping him near the top of the monthly idol conversation. Wanna One’s Park Ji Hoon followed in third with 4,412,495, while BTS’s Jungkook ranked fourth with 4,399,287. IVE’s Jang Won Young completed the top five with 4,073,693, reflecting an 8.11 percent increase from her June score.

The top five shows how varied the individual idol field has become. It includes a fast-rising newer name, globally recognized BTS members, an idol-actor with long-running public recognition, and one of the defining fourth-generation girl group figures. That mix gives the July list more weight than a simple popularity snapshot, because it captures momentum across different career stages and fan bases.

Woni’s placement is especially notable because brand reputation rankings tend to reward sustained visibility across multiple channels. Consumer participation can reflect search and audience interest, media coverage can amplify a name beyond core fandom spaces, interaction captures response and engagement, and community awareness reflects the volume and tone of broader discussion. A sharp rise across those areas can quickly change how an idol is perceived in the market.

The Top 30 Reflects K-Pop’s Broad Field

The full July top 30 included RESCENE’s Woni at No. 1, followed by BTS’s Jimin, Wanna One’s Park Ji Hoon, BTS’s Jungkook, IVE’s Jang Won Young, BLACKPINK’s Jennie, RESCENE’s Minami, BLACKPINK’s Rose, BTS’s V, and ATEEZ’s San in the top 10. The list continued with aespa’s Karina, BTS’s j-hope, BTS’s Jin, BLACKPINK’s Lisa, IVE’s An Yu Jin, BTS’s RM, BTS’s Suga, RESCENE’s Zena, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, and aespa’s Winter.

Also appearing in the top 30 were Girls’ Generation’s Lim Yoona, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, TWICE’s Nayeon, BIGBANG’s G-Dragon, Red Velvet’s Seulgi, IVE’s Rei, Red Velvet’s Joy, EXO’s Baekhyun, TWICE’s Sana, and RESCENE’s Liv. The presence of multiple generations of artists underlines how brand power in K-pop is not limited to the newest release cycle. Long-established idols can remain highly competitive while newer performers create sudden surges through viral attention, performance clips, variety content, or fandom growth.

For RESCENE, the July rankings carry broader meaning beyond Woni’s individual result. Minami, Zena, and Liv also appeared in the top 30, giving the group multiple points of visibility on the same list. That kind of spread can help turn individual attention into group-level awareness, particularly when casual audiences begin connecting several members to the same team.

Monthly brand reputation rankings are not the same as sales charts or streaming charts, and they should not be read as a complete measure of an idol’s career. They are, however, useful indicators of who is driving public conversation at a given moment. In July, that conversation placed Woni at the center, while the rest of the list showed the continuing strength of K-pop’s biggest names and the fast-changing nature of audience attention.
