BTS’s Jimin ranked first in the July boy group member brand reputation list, while Park Ji Hoon, Jungkook, ATEEZ’s San, and CORTIS’s Keonho completed the top five.

July 18, 2026 Saturday, published in the 'K-Pop' category. This is a post. Title: BTS Jimin Leads July Boy Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings...

BTS’s Jimin remained at No. 1 in the July boy group member brand reputation rankings, extending his presence at the top of a monthly list that tracks how individual K-pop idols are being discussed, searched, and covered across Korean media and online communities.

The Korean Business Research Institute released its latest rankings on July 18, analyzing big data gathered from June 18 through July 18. The institute measured 755 boy group members across four main categories: consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community awareness. Jimin finished first with a brand reputation index of 3,893,749.

The result places Jimin ahead of a competitive field that includes active idols, solo entertainers, and members of groups with long-running public recognition. According to the institute’s keyword analysis, phrases linked to Jimin this month included ARMY, Munich, and blond. Related terms included communicate, surpass, and steadfast, while his positivity-negativity analysis showed 93.40 percent positive reactions.

Top Five Shows A Mix Of Established And Rising Names

Wanna One’s Park Ji Hoon placed second with a brand reputation index of 3,687,282, putting him close behind Jimin in the July tally. BTS’s Jungkook followed in third with 3,359,098, keeping another BTS member near the top of the individual rankings and underscoring the group’s continued influence in both fandom conversation and mainstream entertainment coverage.

ATEEZ’s San delivered one of the most notable movements of the month. He rose to fourth place after recording an 815.27 percent increase from his previous score, bringing his July brand reputation index to 1,919,276. That kind of jump points to a sharp expansion in attention during the measured period, whether through performance activity, fan engagement, media visibility, or a combination of all three.

CORTIS’s Keonho completed the top five with a brand reputation index of 1,902,631, up 5.77 percent from June. His placement gives the July list an additional point of interest because it places a CORTIS member alongside names from some of the most recognizable boy group brands in Korean pop music.

BTS Members Remain Prominent Across The Ranking

BTS had multiple members in the upper section of the list. In addition to Jimin at No. 1 and Jungkook at No. 3, Jin ranked sixth, V ranked seventh, RM ranked 12th, j-hope ranked 13th, and Suga ranked 14th. The spread shows that public interest in BTS continues to operate at both group and individual levels, with each member retaining a distinct profile in search, media, and fan discussion.

The top 10 also included BIGBANG’s G-Dragon at No. 8, CORTIS’s Juhoon at No. 9, and Wanna One’s Kang Daniel at No. 10. Their placements illustrate how the ranking is not limited to one generation of idol activity. Instead, it captures a broad field that includes senior figures, currently active group members, and artists whose solo careers or public images continue to generate attention.

Further down the top 30, the list featured NU’EST and Wanna One’s Hwang Minhyun, Super Junior’s Kim Heechul, GOT7’s Park Jinyoung, TVXQ’s Yunho, SHINee’s Minho, RIIZE’s Wonbin, EXO’s Baekhyun, Super Junior’s Choi Siwon and Kyuhyun, ATEEZ’s Yunho, HIGHLIGHT’s Yoon Doojoon, and SHINee’s Key. CORTIS also appeared more than once, with Seonghyeon and James joining Keonho and Juhoon inside the top 30.

What The Monthly Index Reflects

Brand reputation rankings are best understood as a snapshot of public visibility rather than a direct measure of artistry, sales, or fandom size. The index combines several signals, including how often a name appears in media, how actively consumers engage with that name, and how widely the artist is discussed in online communities. Because those inputs can shift quickly, monthly rankings often highlight both steady star power and sudden surges.

For July, Jimin’s first-place finish reflects a combination of consistent recognition and favorable sentiment. Park Ji Hoon and Jungkook’s close scores kept the top three concentrated among artists with strong individual identities, while San’s steep rise gave the month its clearest momentum story. Keonho’s top-five finish, meanwhile, added a newer competitive note to a chart led largely by widely established idol names.

The July ranking ultimately points to a K-pop landscape where veteran visibility and newer momentum can coexist. Established acts continue to command attention, but a sharp rise in conversation can quickly move an artist into the top tier. That balance is what makes the monthly brand reputation list closely watched by fans, agencies, and industry observers tracking how public attention is shifting in real time.
