BTS has added another major touring milestone to its global record book. According to a June 30 local-time update reported through Billboard Boxscore, the group ranked No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Tours chart for the second month in a row, becoming the highest-grossing and best-selling touring act of the month.
The figures underline the continued scale of BTS’s live business in 2026. Billboard Boxscore data cited in the report credited the group with $127.8 million in gross ticket revenue and 641,000 tickets sold across 12 shows held from May 2 to May 28. Those numbers were enough not only to keep BTS at the top of the monthly touring chart, but also to reset the benchmark for groups on the ranking.
The new total surpasses the previous monthly group record set by The Rolling Stones, whose August 2019 figure stood at $95 million. Billboard’s Top Tours chart launched in 2019, making the comparison a direct measure of the modern Boxscore era. For BTS, the result places the group ahead of one of rock’s most durable touring institutions in a category long dominated by legacy acts with decades of stadium experience.
A New K-pop Touring Benchmark
The achievement is particularly significant because touring has become one of the clearest indicators of K-pop’s international commercial reach. Album sales, streaming, social engagement, and brand partnerships all remain important, but stadium touring tests whether global demand can be converted into large-scale, repeat attendance across markets.
BTS has long been a central case study in that shift. The group’s latest Boxscore result shows that its audience remains capable of sustaining arena and stadium-level demand at a pace comparable with the biggest names in Western pop, rock, and R&B. That context matters: BTS is not merely leading within K-pop or among groups, but competing near the top of the broader global touring business.
Second Straight Month At No. 1
The June 30 update marked BTS’s second consecutive month at No. 1 on the Top Tours chart. It also brought the group’s total time atop the ranking to four non-consecutive months, with previous No. 1 placements recorded in May 2019, April 2022, April 2026, and now May 2026.
Only five acts have spent more total months at No. 1 since the chart began: Bad Bunny with nine months, Beyonce, Coldplay, and Elton John with seven each, and Trans-Siberian Orchestra with five. That list puts BTS among a small group of artists with repeated, measurable dominance in the monthly touring market rather than a single breakout run.
The record arrives at a time when K-pop agencies and artists are placing renewed emphasis on international touring infrastructure. Larger venues, multi-city overseas schedules, and integrated fan experiences have become key parts of top-tier idol group strategy. BTS’s Boxscore performance gives the industry a new reference point for what that strategy can achieve at the highest level.
For fans, the numbers also offer a concrete view of the group’s ongoing global pull. A monthly gross of $127.8 million across 12 shows suggests both high attendance and strong average revenue per performance.
